there are spaces in between rooms, and sometimes i find myself there, lost in thought, or just drifting aimlessly. it's a strange place to be, neither here nor there, but it's where i often find myself. it's a place of limbo, a place of waiting, and sometimes it feels like it's all i ever do. but i find comfort in these spaces, in the nothingness and the silence. it's a place where i can just be, and that's enough for me.

a simple dreamlike field with no trees or buildings is an expansive empty space that makes me feel free. there's nothing to obstruct my view or get in my way, and i can just imagine what it would be like to run and play. it's a place where my mind can wander and explore, and where i can feel at peace with the world. sometimes i just need

This is a surreal living situation. Staying in this guest bedroom, it feels like my one-room dorm has a back closet which is several times larger than my dorm itself. Hearing their everyday candor is an endless movie piped in through the walls--you can't not hear. morning routines, especially, it amazed me how little dialogue there is. This dirge. Moments not for the books, but for the ether, myself half asleep, wading in what would become the space between their memories.
